Ben Sasu is the heart of the Quince Orchard Cougars. He is also the absolute best runningback in Quince Orchard history and also currently the best runningback in Montgomery County. Sasu is the main reason the cougars went 10-0 in the regular season and beat Tuscarora HS from Frederick County 33-12 in the first round of the Maryland 3A playoffs. Sadly, Quince Orchard's undefeated streak came to an end when they lost in the second round of the Maryland 3A playoffs to the Frederick County powerhouse, The Linganore Lancers, 19-0. The Cougars ended the season 11-1 and ranked 2nd in Montgomery County after Good Counsel. Overall, they were ranked 3rd.Sunday, December 6, 2009
